My take on online gambling January 16, 2008
Posted by uhuh in : Personal, Rumors, Society , add a commentI guess it is not because online casino sites exist online. There are hundreds of them actually and I know this because I Googled it. Yeah, I now know how to make some research through search engines so I pretty much know what I am talking about.
Let’s admit it. Some people just love online gambling and there’s no way we can put a stop to it especially if it is legalized in some regions of the world. In fact, Las Vegas’ main source of income is from gambling. So we really cannot stop the addiction unless there is an inner realization and metanoia for those who are actually hooked into it.
Anyway, most of the online casino sites provide links to other sites that actually conduct gambling transactions. I am not really sure how this is done because I have not tried anything like this, but I believe that these sites are secure and that they actually deliver. How else would these sites be useful if they don’t?
My parents taught me that this activity is not good but I guess in some parts of the world where wealth abounds, this is a different story. I have always been told to be frugal and thrifty so this thing is a no-no for me. But for people who have lots of money, this is just a regular activity for them.
My friends are hooked at blogging January 8, 2008
Posted by uhuh in : Blogging, Love, Personal , add a commentBlogging is really addicting. My friends and I are actually very much into more than ever. We even update each other with our new posts or new comments. This is just a fun thing to do. And now that blog advertising opportunities are available, we couldn’t be so much happier!
Their are internet sites out there who allow bloggers to get paid to blog or to write their opinion posts for a specific site or product. Once the bloggers make the posts, they are paid right away. I am actually getting something out of the things that I love writing about. Plus, Smorty pays on-time, on a weekly basis so bloggers don’t have to wait for too long in order to taste the fruits of their labor.
And I think you too have the same opportunity. It is time to create your own blog and earn money through it. Try signing up with Smorty and start earning bucks through your blog posts.
Vaness Hudgens - Seventeen cover girl January 8, 2008

I was amazed to see how celebrities bounce back from a big controversy. Take Vanessa Hudgens for example. She faced a major blow when her naked pictures leaked on the internet for everyone to see. But now, it looks like everything came back to normal and she is now on the cover of Seventeen magazine, smiling and grinning as if nothing happened.
By the time I reach the point when I am living in nursing homes, I still will not have figured out how things really work in Hollywood. Everything just seems to unpredictable. What remains sure for me now is the fact that there are people out there who truly cares for me despite my flaws and shortcomings. I may not be as famous as Vanessa or Zac Efron but I know that deep in my heart, there are more than 20 persons who truly care for me. Just like better caring :D.
Peso is getting stronger October 24, 2007
Posted by uhuh in : Income, Loneliness, Pain, Personal, Pinoy, Society , add a commentI am one of those folks who are troubled if they should be happy that the peso is getting stronger. Well I have some online money making gigs and I get paid in dollars, so the peso regaining momentum would mean lesser value for my dollar earnings.
But of course, I know that it is a good sign that the Pinoy currency is actually kicking some ass in the stock market. I just can’t help getting sad that my dollar earnings would suffer from this. Or perhaps I just don’t get it at all because I have no idea what accounting in San Diego means.
Oh well, I don’t know. I hope things get better soon, whatever that means.
Heartbreaks and breakups October 8, 2007
Posted by uhuh in : Dating, Loneliness, Love, Pain, Personal , 2commentsIt really is not easy to break up with someone especially if you are in the receiving end of the deal. Meaning, you are the one being left out.
I have a friend who is currently mourning over the breakup thingie. He said he loves her but failed to show his affections fully. The girl said he has always been busy with other things and that he doesn’t have enough time for her so she decided to end it. By ending it, it appears that she is also ending the friendship. Now that hurts a lot.
My friend is actually mourning over the loss of a great person whom he loves and also over the shortcomings that he did in the past. He admits that he didn’t really give enough of his time. He failed to make her important.
Well, that’s how things sometimes happen. We never know when things begin and end. The important lesson there is to show love and give your best while he or she is still there to experience it. Regretting over unexpressed love is just the most painful thing there is in loving.
Who Handles Break-Ups Better? September 17, 2007
Posted by uhuh in : Dating, Healing, Pain, Personal, Shame , add a commentARTICLE BY DAVID ZINCZ Some relationships end with fighting. Some end with crying. Some end with sex. Some end with verbal insults (or dishes) being thrown at sound-barrier-breaking speeds. Whatever the case, break-ups can be uglier than some Dancing with the Stars performances. Let’s face it: some relationships aren’t meant to be, so a break-up averts a bigger disaster. So when the Love Boat hits the iceberg, who handles it better? My answer: Women. Several studies show that men experience more depression, distress, and anxiety after break-ups than women do. Men might like to come across as being tougher than overcooked steak after a breakup, but the truth is that they’re actually more the consistency of jelly. Believe me-I see the letters of hundreds of men desperate for advice on how to win their ex back. Here’s why some men come undone during a breakup:
Men Mask Their Pain
When a guy is dumped, his first reaction is: I’ll show her. How he sometimes does it: With a couple pitchers and a night out with the guys. In fact, 26 percent of men say that the dumped party should get drunk with the guys after a break-up, according to a Men’s Health online survey. But those beer swillers are actually in the minority: 36 percent say a guy should look at his new ex, smile, and thank her. The thing is, both of those reactions are exactly the same thing-masks for their true feelings. They can’t deal with being hurt, or angry, or bummed. It’s not until after they get past their initial reaction that men actually mourn the loss of the relationship. Women are more likely to cry soon after the breakup, and they’re also more likely to use straight talk when ending a relationship, studies find. So women face their relationship blues head on, and get them out of their systems earlier. Many men tend to repress their reaction, so it lingers like basement mold.
